The 10 Ton Vacuum Mud Cutting Skip is a heavy-duty, high-capacity containment vessel designed for closed-loop suction loading, storage, and offshore-to-shore transport of heavy drill cuttings, oil-based muds (OBM), synthetic-based muds (SBM), and hazardous tank sludges. Engineered specifically for direct connection to rig vacuum loading systems (such as solids control and vacuum transport units), it eliminates open-air exposure, vapor hazards, and environmental spillage during offshore drilling operations.
Fully certified to DNV 2.7-1 / BS EN 12079 and ISO 10855 international offshore safety standards, this unit features a vacuum and pressure-tested Corten/Carbon steel tank housed within a protective structural steel skid. It includes 4" vacuum loading and discharge valves with quick-connect Camlock fittings, top manway inspection hatches, pressure/vacuum relief valves, and a sloped internal floor for effortless gravity or suction unloading. Each unit is finished with multi-layer marine epoxy paint and comes complete with integrated lifting padeyes, 4-way forklift pockets, and a certified DNV 2.7-1 4-leg wire rope sling set with safety bow shackles.
