The 4000L Portable Tank is a high-capacity intermediate bulk container (IBC) engineered for the safe transport, storage, and dispensing of hazardous and non-hazardous liquids—including diesel, lubricants, process chemicals, glycol, and liquid waste. Designed to bridge the gap between standard 1,000L plastic totes and massive ISO tank containers, this 4,000-liter unit provides a compact, heavy-duty solution for mining sites, agricultural operations, offshore supply vessels, and remote construction camps.

Constructed with a heavy-gauge 316L or 304 stainless steel inner pressure vessel enclosed inside a protective structural steel outer skid frame, the tank is engineered to absorb heavy impacts during road, rail, and marine transport. Standard features include a top access manway for internal inspection and cleaning, a 3" bottom discharge manifold with quick-connect fittings, pressure/vacuum relief safety valves, 4-way forklift pockets, and top corner lifting padeyes for easy crane handling.

Key Features & Technical Specifications

1. Robust Vessel & Frame Protection

  • High-Grade Vessel: Fabricated from 316L or 304 stainless steel (or heavy-duty Corten/carbon steel options) to ensure complete chemical compatibility and long service life.

  • Protective Outer Skid: Outer structural steel cage shields the tank shell and valves from impact during transport and job-site repositioning.

  • Crane & Forklift Loading: Equipped with top ISO corner castings / padeyes for crane hoists and integrated 4-way bottom forklift pockets for yard maneuverability.

2. Fluid Control & Safety Systems

  • Top Inspection Manway: 450mm–500mm top manway hatch for easy filling, internal cleaning, and maintenance.

  • Discharge Manifold: 3" stainless steel ball valve outlet with quick-camlock couplings housed inside a protective valve box.

  • Safety Relief Valves: Integrated pressure/vacuum relief valves to maintain structural stability under thermal expansion and fluid draw-off.
